VHS TO DVD CONVERSION

The Video Home System, better known by its abbreviation VHS, was first pioneered in the late '70's. This format is the most commonly used since the 1980's.

As VHS tapes age, they become brittle.  Priceless images start to fade.  The time to convert them to DVD has never been more urgent.  

Dean Digital Video can convert your old tapes to new digital DVDs. With archival costs starting at only $10 per hour, let us preserve the moments and memories you cherish.

We use only premium quality DVDs for maximum compatibility with DVD players in North America.  For best quality we will transfer no more than two hours of material onto each DVD.

Tapes recorded in SLP speed (4 hrs to 6 hrs) are grainier than tapes recorded at SP speed (2 hrs) and often display tracking errors. All attempts are made to minimize tracking lines.

WHAT WE DO:

=We handle your tapes with extreme care.

=We transfer VHS, VHS-C & MiniDV Tapes.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO:

=We do not transfer Video-8, BetaMax, film or other home movie formats.

=We do not convert copy-protected or copyrighted tapes.

=Sorry, no editing.  Each tape is transferred as is, in it's entirety.
