BIOGRAPHY:
Calvin
Dean's career in television and radio began in 1972.
At age 18, Calvin won his first state-wide award for a 30 second commercial
announcement. Today, his creative style and hands-on involvement earn
national awards in both broadcast and corporate video production.

TELEVISION
- Calvin served as Production Manager at WMC-TV in
Memphis, Tennessee and WDBD-TV in Jackson, Mississippi. He also a wrote
and produced
at WJTV-TV in Jackson, Mississippi.
ADVERTISING
- In
the corporate field Calvin wrote, produced, directed and edited broadcast
advertising for Maison Blanche Department
Stores in New Orleans and Goudchaux's Department Stores in Baton Rouge
& Lafayette, LA.
CORPORATE
- Since 1985, Calvin has also been involved in image campaigns, sales/marketing presentations, and informational videos for numerous Fortune
500 firms.
EDUCATIONAL
- Museums in Memphis and North Mississippi also rely on Dean Digital Video for
historical presentations and documentaries.

VOLUNTEERING
- In
addition, Calvin volunteer-teaches intermediate school aged children the steps
in preparing a video. Given a specific assignment, the children work
together to write a script, audition for parts, then act in the final
production under Mr. Dean's direction.
SPEAKING
ENGAGEMENTS - Calvin also lectures at business conventions about
communication and video production in corporate and educational settings.
SPECIAL
ASSIGNMENTS - Calvin was selected to film ancient Etruscan tombs and
artifacts for a major art exhibit at Pink Palace Museum in
Memphis. Part of The
Memphis Wonders Series, this assignment took Calvin to Rome, Orvietto,
Cervetari, and other destinations in the scenic mountains of central
Italy.
